At the undergraduate level, the Department of Architecture and Interior Design at Miami University offers a uniquely interdisciplinary curriculum of studio and academic studies that is sited in the residential college of the School of Interdisciplinary Studies as well as in the department in the first year. Graduate studies in the professional Master of Architecture program lead the studio culture in the department theoretically and artistically as well as help students prepare themselves for individualized thesis research and design.
